Ah… The day comes at last… that special day that couples wait all year (well it really seems corny but what the heck… they even go to lovapalooza… XD) and the day that other members of society (the singles) feel left behind or even don’t give a shit about. How can you blame them when they go out and see couples walking and acting sweet with each other?

Some would think that Love really is a mysterious and complicated phenomena that we human beings feel… By human beings I meant well among God’s creations we are the only one who likes to rationalize what LOVE REALLY IS… I mean would you hear a dog, cat, bird ask the opposite sex “Why do you love me?” to them it is as simple as attraction, mating and taking care of their offsprings…

Sometimes attraction really is very complicated. I mean don’t tell me that you have not chanced seeing a couple anywhere when you would definitely say “OMG what did the girl see on that boy?!” or vice versa… This proves that there really are other factors involved that is more than just physical attraction… As for me i have yet to know what it really means… Lol, kidding… :P

Just because no one has been fortunate enough
to realize what a gold mine you are,
doesn’t mean you shine any less.

Just because no one has been smart enough
to figure out that you can’t be topped,
doesn’t stop you from being the best.

Just because no one has come along
to share your life,
doesn’t mean that day isn’t coming.
Just because no one has made
this race worthwhile,
doesn’t give you permission to stop running.

Just because no one has realized
how much of a man/woman you are,
doesn’t mean they can affect your
masculinity/femininity.

Just because no one has come
to take the loneliness away,
doesn’t mean you have to settle for a
lower quality.

Just because no one has shown up
who can love you on your level,
doesn’t mean you have to sink to theirs.

Just because you deserve
the very best there is,
doesn’t mean that life is always fair.

Just because God
is still preparing your king/queen,
doesn’t mean that you’re not already a
queen/king.

Just because your situation
doesn’t seem to be progressing right now,
doesn’t mean you need to change a thing.

Keep shining,
Keep running,
Keep hoping,
Keep praying,
Keep being exactly what you are already,
COMPLETE.

I was a little bit heart broken and sad when I first saw this poem so I really was teary eyed at parts of the poem but after reading I must admit that I felt inspired by the poem. The poem will help us realize that to experience Love, first one must love himself/herself, have faith in our one and only God…

I hope that this poem will serve as inspiration to others as much as it inspires me…

PS. There really should be no valentines day… why? as the saying goes that when you’re in love it is valentines day everyday…

So don’t be sad if you’re single, it does not mean no one loves you… you still have friends, family and most of all God and you family in heaven loves you so much… ^_^
